We are pleased to announce the successful enforcement of its trademark rights in Hungary and the European Union. O&A Trade (Hungary) has admitted to unauthorized use of Amino Up’s trademark “AHCC” and has agreed to a settlement.
As a part of the legal settlement, O&A Trade published a notice of infringement on their website (http://oanaturals.com/) The note explains that their product never contained genuine AHCC® material, and that it was manufactured and marketed under the name AHCC without authorization. O&A Trade also admitted the commitment of infringement, issued a formal apology, and contractually committed never to attempt again to sell such an unauthorized false product.
“Amino Up is committed to do whatever it takes to remove counterfeit and fake products from the market as well as to protect its intellectual property. This successful enforcement action clearly evidences this fact.” said Dr. Kohei Homma, Senior Executive Director of the Amino Up Company.
As a part of its global IP portfolio, Amino Up has registered trademarks in various jurisdictions around the world and has successfully enforced its trademark rights in Europe, the United States, Canada, South America, and Asia.
